Greatest Hits is a greatest hits album by American rock band Journey. The album was originally released on November 15, 1988 by Columbia Records.[1]

The compilation is the band's best-selling album to date, spending over 760 weeks on the Billboard pop album charts and selling over 15 million copies as of 2008. It continues to be one of the most popular greatest hits packages, selling 500,000 to 1 million copies per year. As of December 2008, it was the 6th highest certified greatest hits package in the United States.[3]

The album has been reissued several times and is currently available on the Compact Disc format by Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings, which has a bonus track. In Japan, the album has been reissued as Open Arms: Greatest Hits with the song "Open Arms" appearing as the first song on the album.
